PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION AND PROCESSING POLICY

1. Notification as Data Controller

In accordance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), as Whistle Jewelry – Dila Göze (“the Company”), acting in the capacity of Data Controller, we will record, store and update your personal data, and where the legislation permits, disclose/transfer it to third parties and process it in the manner set out under the KVKK, within the purposes and limits explained below.

2. Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data

The personal data you share (name, surname, delivery address, email, telephone number, etc.);

• is processed in compliance with the KVKK in order to fulfil contractual obligations under Law No. 6502 on the Protection of the Consumer and the Regulation on Distance Contracts, to prepare your orders and to deliver them within 3-5 business days,
• to maintain identity and address records in order to identify the holder of the transaction in accordance with Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce,
• to carry out payment systems mandatory in the fields of Banking and Payment Services (Garanti BBVA Virtual POS infrastructure), electronic invoicing and legal document processes,
• to comply with information retention, reporting and notification obligations.

3. Third Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred

Your personal data may be transferred, in line with the purposes set out above, to contracted courier companies for the delivery of your orders, to Garanti BBVA and relevant financial institutions for your payment transactions to be carried out with 256-bit SSL assurance, to technical providers from whom we receive e-commerce infrastructure and hosting services, and to authorised public institutions and organisations within the framework of legal obligations.

4. Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected electronically through membership, orders, contact forms, e-newsletter registrations and digital channels on our website www.whistlejewelry.com.

5. Your Rights Under Article 11 of the KVKK

As a personal data owner, by applying to our Company, you have the right to;

• learn whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to request information relating thereto,
• learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in line with its purpose,
• know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred, at home or abroad,
• request the correction of your personal data if it is processed incompletely or inaccurately, and request its erasure/destruction under the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK.
